2019-2020 Co-Captains
All three Waves teams are gearing up for a successful season at the Onyx Elite workout facility in Richmond, Virginia. During the winter of 2024, the players are putting in extra effort to improve their skills and build teamwork. The state-of-the-art facility provides the perfect environment for intense training and conditioning, ensuring the team is ready to compete at their highest level come spring. The Waves are determined to make a strong showing this season and are putting in the work to make it happen.
The West End Waves Fastpitch Softball teams, along with other young softball players, have just completed their 2024 Winter Skills Camp at J.R. Tucker High School in Henrico, Virginia. The camp was designed to provide the players with an opportunity to refine their skills, build teamwork, and gain valuable experience. The players worked tirelessly under the guidance of experienced coaches, honing their abilities in hitting, fielding, and pitching. The indoor facilities at J.R. Tucker High School provided the perfect environment for the players to develop their talents and reach their full potential.

Hey there, future softball stars! Are you ready to take your game to the next level? The West End Waves in Richmond, Virginia, are holding tryouts, and we want YOU to join our family.
Tryout Details
Mark your calendars for July 21-22, 2025. (Rain Makeup July 23, 2025)
We’ll be at the J.R. Tucker High School softball field. The field is located behind the school, adjacent to the Bus Loop. Check-in starts at 6:00 PM, and the sessions will last a couple of hours.
Don’t forget to bring your gear, plenty of water, a competitive spirit, and a great attitude!
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for athletes who love the game and want to compete. All positions are needed, but we’re especially looking for pitchers and catchers to strengthen all three of our teams. If you’re ready to bring the energy, hustle, and heart, we want to see you at tryouts.
